Downtown Rice Lake Re-Opening Celebration

It’s almost time! After months of messy renovation, downtown Rice Lake business owners are preparing for their Big Reveal. While not completely finished, downtown businesses are anxious to invite shoppers back into their stores – and they’re primed for celebration.
On Friday, October 6 from 3pm-7pm, Rice Lake’s downtown business owners invite you to celebrate their beautiful new business area. Come and check it out!
Rice Lake Downtown Celebration Event Schedule
The celebration kicks off Friday, September 29, with “Downtown Passports” available at participating businesses. Collect a stamp for every purchase at those retailers, and at 6pm on Friday, October 6, hand in your card (with a minimum of 8 stamps) at Jacobson’s Ace Hardware lot for entry in the prize drawings: $500 gift card; $300 gift card and $200 gift card. - Food Drive: St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry – Donations accepted for $500 prize drawing (Jacobson’s Ace Hardware, 28 S Main St) Sponsored by The Hair Garage
- Cruise In Car Show: 3-7pm (Birchwood Manufacturing Lot, 38 E Messenger St)
- Kryptic Movement Fire Artist: 4-7pm (throughout downtown)
October 6 – Food & Concessions:
- Free Brats & Hot Dogs: 3pm until gone, sponsored by Greg Hayes Insurance & Financial Services (outside Ventures Apparel)
- Simply Cake Couture Truck: 4-7pm (Birchwood Manufacturing Lot, 38 E Messenger St)
- Cookin’ Up A Storm: 4-7pm Beef Brisket Plate, Grilled Charcoal Chicken Plate or Monster Bowl (outside Wicked Whisk)
- Out There Nordic Sports: 4-7pm Norwegian waffles & hot cider – and door prizes, too!
- Buffet Meal: 5-8pm (Rice Lake Elk’s Lodge #1441) Open to public for this event; reservations suggested. $1 of each plate will be donated to the Barron County Special Olympics.
October 6 – Live Music
- The Sage Band: 4-7pm (Jacobson’s Ace Hardware lot, 28 S Main St)
- West Avenue Band: 5-11pm (upstairs at Mr. Bob’s, 205 N Main St)
