Welcome to the good life – the one we’re living right now. We moved back to our small-town Wisconsin roots in 2019, settled on a little lake, and have been making a life here ever since. It’s quieter, simpler, and a whole lot closer to nature.
We garden alongside the deer, live in a hand-built home, enjoy the lake through every season, and make the most of simple Midwest living. We write about our home, garden, wildlife, projects, finds, and everyday life in the beautiful Northwoods.
